Harry Jean-Jacques
Born & raised in our hometown of Dorchester, Massachusetts. Originally barred from the cannabis industry due to a past felony conviction, Harry had to get creative about legal participation with marijuana. Beginning his advocacy as the Keynote speaker as a returning citizen for the 2018 National Expungement Week conference, Harry moved to serve as the Regional Director for N.E.W, coordinating several expungement clinics and providing individual support for record expungement in Massachusetts for communities in need, even expunging his own record. In 2019, Harry was elected to the Board of Directors of MRCC where he was involved with supporting the initial cohort for the C.C.C. ‘s Social Equity Program. Over the last few years, Harry has been dedicated to organizing, testifying, and lobbying for policies related to cannabis equity and criminal justice reform.
